GUSD students receive a "Report of Student Achievement” three times each year. These Report Cards contain important information regarding the child’s academic progress, as well as effort, work habits, and behavior expectations.
Students receive standards-based academic achievement grades in Language Arts, Math, Science, History/Social Science, and English Language Development (ELD - if applicable). In addition, effort grades are given for each content area. In Physical Education (PE), effort grades are given for Participation and Behavior. Students are also given effort grades for Digital Literacy and Visual and Performing Arts.
