  • An individual or group representative may address the Board of Education on any agenda item or subject within its jurisdiction.

    • Individuals wishing to participate in public communication may do so in-person by completing a comment card upon arrival at the district office. Comment cards will be accepted from 30 minutes prior to the meeting start time until the meeting begins.
    • The Board will limit the total time for public comment to 60 minutes. Not more than three minutes may be allotted to each speaker and no more than 21 minutes to each subject, except by unanimous consent of the Board. A speaker’s allotted time cannot be deferred to another speaker.
    • Board members may question the speaker but there will be no debate or decision. The Superintendent may refer the matter to the proper department for review.

The request to exclude such information shall be made in writing to the secretary or clerk of the Board.
